At the request of the ship owner, Greentec made 3D scanning for Scrubber Retrofitting for MV MSC MARGRIT managed by MSC MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING COMPANY, a 141K Container Ship docking in COSCO(Shanghai) Shipyard on Oct 9th, 2017. And this is also the third scrubber retrofitting project of Greentec.
At the request of the ship owner, Greentec made 3D scanning for Scrubber Retrofitting for MV MSC MARGRIT managed by MSC MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING COMPANY, a 141K Container Ship docking in COSCO(Shanghai) Shipyard on Oct 9th, 2017. And this is also the third scrubber retrofitting project of Greentec.
MSC MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING COMPANY, a world leader in global container, is a global organization operating a network of over 480 offices in 155 countries. They have an established fleet of 490 container vessels with an intake capacity of circa 3.1 million TEU and their global sailing schedules cover 200 routes, calling at 500 ports.
During scanning onboard, Mr. Kumar, the Tech Manager of MSC, showed great interest in Greentec’s 3D scanning works, not only in scrubber retrofitting, but also in BWMS retrofitting. Greentec engineers’ professional skills on 3D laser scanning impressed the him much. And the subsequent retrofit proposal is smoothly proceeded under the discussion of both sides.
