On November 26th, the EGCS retrofit project for MT OMEGA TRADER from Japanese owner MOL undertaken by Greentec Marine was officially delivered, marking the first ship of the VLCC series retrofitting projects between the two parties. Greentec Marine provided comprehensive services including engineering design, equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning for this series of projects.

Since MT OMEGA TRADER entered the shipyard at the end of October, the project team has meticulously planned, coordinated, and managed the overall project to ensure the efficient and high-quality progress of various tasks. The ship has recently successfully completed her sea trial, ensured the smooth completion of the delivery task and received full recognition from the shipowner, laying a solid foundation for subsequent deliveries. This series comprises a total of four vessels, with plans for successive deliveries in the first half of the upcoming year.
