Amidst the global shipping industry's wave of green transformation, Greentec is pioneering a new chapter in green EPC projects with concrete actions. From Zhejiang to Shenzhen, and from Shandong to Shanghai, a series of green ship retrofitting projects are progressing smoothly.
At CHI Zhoushan Shipyard, the Newcastle type bulk carrier CAMELLIA DREAM is undergoing the world's first installation of rotor sail system for this ship type. Greentec provides comprehensive turnkey services from engineering design, equipment procurement to installation and commissioning, showcasing their professionalism and craftsmanship at every step. Despite the lack of precedent and facing unpredictable weather challenges in Zhoushan, the project team adheres strictly to contractual obligations, tackles difficulties head-on, and successfully completed the installation on June 17th. On June 28th, this giant vessel equipped with rotor sails undergoes sea trials, potentially achieving up to 10% fuel savings, significantly enhancing her CII rating, and setting a new benchmark for green shipping.
At Yiulian Shenzhen Shipyard, Atlantic Pioneer, the fourth vessel of a series of EGCS turnkey projects for a Japanese client undertaken by Greentec, is in the prefabrication stage of the scrubber tower casing. The project management team faithfully follows company management policies, coordinates resources from all parties, tightly controls construction quality, and achieves full-process management, laying a solid foundation for the project's smooth progress.
At CUD Weihai Shipyard, the EPC project for CMB's shaft generator retrofitting has entered the intensive prefabrication stage, scheduled for installation in early July with a planned duration of 25 days. The project utilizes a new type of indirect water-cooled generator. Faced with tight equipment delivery schedules, Greentec coordinates extensively and communicated closely with equipment manufacturers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery, demonstrating the professionalism and efficiency of Greentec team.
At CHI Shanghai Shipyard, Greentec is handling the second vessel of Adani Shipping's series of shaft generator retrofitting turnkey projects — VIDYUT. Since her arrival on June 3rd, the project team has efficiently completed equipment installation and lifting operations, with sea trials on July 1st. Building on the successful experience of the sister vessel "AASHNA" project, Greentec has adopted the same project team and developed a more detailed engineering plan, confident in delivering another exceptional result.
Greentec, as a leader in green EPC services, upholds the corporate spirit of integrity, profession, innovation, and cooperation. It strives to be a world-class marine and offshore service provider and green technology pioneer, using technology to support a green sea. With the steady advancement of multiple green EPC projects, Greentec is gradually turning green dreams into reality, injecting strong momentum into the sustainable development of the global shipping industry.
