The epidemic has been raging so far, and the international environment is complex and changeable, which has had a serious impact on the global shipbuilding repair and ship supporting industry. In such a complex and difficult background, Greentec team has worked together to ensure the overseas turnkey projects can move forward in an orderly way within due time.
MV Charlie B is operated and managed by PT-SHIPMANAGEMENT of Germany. The BWMS retrofitting order signed with Greentec is a turnkey package order, including engineering design, BWMS equipment procurement, material supply, installation, and ballast water sampling and testing.
In mid-February, for the sake of smoothly completion for BWMS installation and commissioning as well as ballast water sampling analysis for CHARLIE B during her voyage in Oceania, Greentec, making full use of the advantages in overseas resources and integrating supply chain resources efficiently, assembled senior engineers to set up a specialized team, purchased BWMS from Norwegian manufacturer Optimarine and ensured timely delivery of the equipment. Meanwhile, Greentec coordinated with partner companies promptly and invited the Polish installation team to Australia for voyage installation asap.
During the whole retrofitting process of the project, Greentec team established a video communication mechanism with the owner, held weekly video meetings, and realized the seamless connection of the project by means of remote guidance. Relying on professional teams and technical forces, the retrofitting task was carried out in an orderly manner.
On 23rd May, under instruction of Greentec team and through cooperation of multiple parties, voyage installation and commissioning of BWMS retrofit for Charlie B were completed successfully. With efficient working style and good cooperation mechanism, Greentec team has been highly evaluated by customers.
In the future, Greentec will continue to accelerate the expansion of the global service, strengthen win-win international strategic cooperation, dare to explore and innovate, adhere to excellence, and provide more professional and efficient services to global ship owners.
